Many of you have heard that Valley Yoga Centre is not reopening. If you haven't heard and you just found out right now, sorry for being so blunt! Each of our yoga teachers have decided to continue teaching and to present their yoga in different ways. Thanks for being patient with us as we are each working on connecting with you in this new world that we are in.

Dear Friends,

We miss you like mad!

Like you, we can hardly believe how all of our lives have changed these last few months.
Since then, we have all washed our hands a lot, become experts at sewing masks and planting gardens!

In our conversations with you, we’ve heard that you’ve used your time well. You have decided to try your (freshly washed) hands at developing new skills. You have shared that you have tried making yogurt and bread, become really good at using your computer, or learned how to crochet.

All of us at Valley Yoga Centre, are very thankful that B.C. has done a great job of responding to and containing the spread of Covid-19. We’ve been in great hands!
While the province continues to open up, we know that, for some time, we will have to take precautions for our wellness and the safety of others. The main precaution of physical distancing is going to be part of our future. For our studio, physical distancing means that our very small classes will not be able to pay the bills.

So, after this lengthy shutdown, it is with some sadness and hope for the future, we are announcing to our yoga family that

Valley Yoga Centre is closing😞
after three lovely years here at Berkey’s Corner.

We love this VYC community and feel so grateful for each of you who showed up for yoga and friendship. In our beautiful studio, we shared many laughs and tears together, and now we look toward the days when it will be safe for us to gather together again.
We hold you ALL very tenderly in our hearts.

We will continue to offer some online options, one-on-one sessions, and maybe some outdoor yoga, too. We will keep you posted as our plans progress. One way to get up-to-date scheduling is to check our pages or to send a message to your teachers.
