What an incredible day in Dundas! 💙 The Rotary Club of Dundas organized the truly spectacular Tour de Dundas and Taste of Dundas events, bringing together nearly 400 cyclists, incredible live music, food trucks with delicious treats, and local community vendors - with peoceeds benefitting Margaret’s Place Hospice. Events like this showcase the very best of our community!

Our Foundation President, Don Davidson, proudly rode the 20km route alongside so many others who came together to make a difference! It’s thanks to this kind of community support that Margaret’s Place Hospice can continue providing compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to families.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make today so special - your support truly touches lives and strengthens our community. 💙

💙 It’s Wishlist Wednesday at Margaret’s Place Hospice! 💙

Our amazing hospice volunteers are rolling up their sleeves and getting busy in the kitchen! They’ll be canning with love to create homemade goodness that will directly benefit Margaret’s Place - and you can help make it possible.

🛒 This week, if you’re out shopping, consider picking up one or two of these most-needed supplies:
💙 Apple Cider Vinegar
💙 Brown Sugar
💙 White Sugar
💙 Cornstarch
💙 Certo Pouches

Your donations will give our volunteers everything they need to fill the shelves with homemade comfort, all in support of compassionate care at Margaret’s Place.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at the Margaret’s Place Hospice Reception Desk – 170 Ogilvie St., Dundas. If possible, we recommend emailing Sherri Johnston at sherrijohnston@sjv.on.ca to arrange a convenient drop-off time. Charitable tax receipts are available if you provide your purchase receipt.

Thank you for helping us keep the spirit of home - and homemade - alive at Margaret’s Place. Your generosity truly makes a difference, one thoughtful gesture at a time. 💙

How do we make peace with life’s final chapter? For many, it’s through the memories we create, the legacy we leave, and the comfort of knowing our life had purpose.

Hosted by Margaret’s Place Hospice and Journey Home, join us on Thursday, September 18 for our next Death Over Draughts gathering. This free session will focus on memory-making and legacy, and how reflecting on the meaning of our lives can help us approach death with greater acceptance.

This open, welcoming conversation is for anyone in our community who wants to share, listen, or simply be present.

📅 Date: Thursday, September 18
📍 Location: Shawn & Ed Brewery
🕰 Time: 6:00-8:00 with live music to follow
👉 Please RSVP to Brianna at Margaret’s Place Hospice - BriannaKennelly@sjv.on.ca
