Dundas Optometry Clinic

Dundas Optometry Clinic We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive eye exams by our team of highly trained Optometrists.

Dundas Optometry Clinic has its roots in Dundas in 1989 when Dr. Betty Johnson first opened her doors at 241 King Street West in the fall of that year. In 1992 Dr. Kirsten Burns joined the practice (retired in 2015) and in 2002 Dr. Laura Thomas came on board, followed by Dr. Katie Mann in 2009. We currently are also pleased to have with us our three associates Dr. Daina Sanderson, Dr. Aynsley Tinkham and Dr. Mariam Hermiz. We have built our reputation on providing excellent eyecare to our community and have earned our patients’ trust. We provide a full spectrum of services including comprehensive ocular health assessments from infants to our senior population, binocular and visual perceptual skills assessments, spectacle and contact lens therapy and Laser surgery co-management. We are equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment, including Digital Retinal Imaging and have the latest Contact lens technology. All of our optometrists are trained to diagnose and detect eye problems and diseases and we are all TPA certified allowing us to treat many ocular conditions. We work closely with other surgical and medical professionals to ensure our patients obtain the proper care in a timely manner. Our dispensary offers the latest styles from top designers in fashion eye wear. We are always happy to accept referrals of family and friends of all ages.

Seeing your optometrist for regular eye exams — and being able to get care in an emergency — helps keep your eyes healthy.

Healthy eyes help seniors in Ontario stay independent. When people can see clearly, they can stay active, feel their best, and stay connected with friends, family, and their community.
