Blended Standard First Aid and CPR Level C/AED online training available:
➡️Blended Standard First Aid & CPR Level C/AED (9AM-5PM)
➡️Blended Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C/AED (9AM-2PM)
➡️Blended CPR Level C/AED (9AM-12PM/Noon)
➡️Standard First Aid & CPR Level C/AED Recertification (9AM-5PM)

Certificate: 3 year, Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level C/AED.
Format: This class is comprised of an online and inclass component.
Duration: 6 hours online (self paced), followed up by 8 hours inclass.
Price: $125/Summer rate: $105

Course Description:
Comprehensive course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the Canadian Red Cross and guidelines.

Heart health is important for everyone. The most common symptom of a heart attack is chest pain or discomfort. Other symptoms of a heart attack include but are not limited to: -shortness of breath
-pain that may spread:
from the chest area
down your arm(s)
to the neck, jaw or shoulders
-paleness, sweating or weakness
-chest pain with possible feelings of:
fullness
burning
pressure
tightness
squeezing
heaviness
discomfort
crushing pain
-nausea, vomiting and possible indigestion
anxiety or fear
Do not ignore any symptoms especially during . Any symptoms of a heart attack should be taken seriously and call 9-1-1.

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is an emergency procedure consisting of mouth-to-mouth respiration and chest compressions. CPR with rescue breaths allows oxygenated blood to circulate to vital organs such as the brain and heart.
