We are gearing up for our Annual Easter event! Every year we invite our great grand children to join us for Egg decorating and an Easter egg hunt! Today’s the big day!!

Today was a wonderful day despite the weather! We had our Lunch Club again and this time we enjoyed a meal from Big Murs in Dundurn. What a treat!

Great News from Cozy Nest!

We’re happy to share that our COVID outbreak has officially come to an end, and all recreation programming at Cozy Nest Care Home will now resume as usual!

This means we’re getting back to our regular routine of morning Sit & Fit exercises and afternoon group activities — something both our residents and staff truly look forward to each day.

Outbreaks are never easy, but the precautions we take are so important to help keep our residents, staff, and families safe. We want to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and support while we worked through this together.

Now it’s time to get back to moving, laughing, visiting, and enjoying activities as a community again. Our residents are excited, and so are we!

We’re also excited to share that we’ve just put up a little greenhouse in the Rec Room aka Log Cabin. It will give us the perfect place to start our vegetable seeds for spring. Even though it might not feel like it outside today, spring is approaching fast, and we can’t wait to get growing!

Good news all around ❤️❤️❤️

Thank You for Celebrating With Us!

Thank you to all of our residents. Staff and family members who joined us for our Cozy Nest Resident & Family Christmas Party. We were so happy to see such a wonderful turnout and to spend the afternoon celebrating together.

The entertainment was fantastic, the room was filled with laughter and holiday cheer, and we hope everyone went home with full hearts and full bellies! And if anyone is still thinking about those deviled eggs… well, we’ll take that as proof they were a hit 😉

Thank you for being such an important part of our Cozy Nest family. Wishing you all a warm, joyful, and very Merry Christmas!

Due to the winter weather being forecast and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone our Christmas Party from Wednesday, December 17th to Friday, December 19th.

The safety of our residents, families, staff, and visitors is always our top priority, and we want everyone to stay safe and off the highways during potentially hazardous travel conditions.

We know this may be an inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding. We are looking forward to celebrating together on Friday, December 19th, once the weather has (hopefully!) settled down.

Please stay warm, stay safe, and take care—we can’t wait to see everyone soon!

A quick reminder to all of our Cozy Nest families — our Sunrise & Meadows Family Christmas Party has been postponed to December 17th.

This means ALL FOUR neighbourhoods will now be celebrating together on the same day!
