Manual Medicine is officially hosting our third Mom Walk on Feb 3rd at 11:00am! 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ This is a FREE community meet-up where new mothers and their babies can get to know one another, get in some exercise, and ask wellness questions 🤱

Our chiropractor Dr. Kayla and our physiotherapist Jessica both welcomed new babies this summer and noticed a need for local walking groups for new mothers…So here we are! 💪

📍PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CHANGE to the Dunnville Arena from previous Mom Walk posts. This winter has not been stroller friendly for outdoor walks so we are calling it early and keeping things at the indoor track ❄️

Healthspan is the period of life lived in good health, free from debilitating diseases and disabilities, unlike lifespan, which is simply the total number of years a person lives.⏳

We ideally want our healthspan number as close to our lifespan number as possible, meaning that we are able to enjoy the richness of life longer with functional independence. 🏏🎣⛳️

📍The start of our second outdoor Mom Walk will be at Manual Medicine on Jan 13th at 11:00am! Please park on the far side of the road to leave close spots open for our patients with disabilities. As we come to the end of our walk about town, there is the option to stop by The Minga to have a hot drink and to socialize ☕️

❄️ If the weather isn’t agreeable, we will change our location to the Dunnville arena (where we will walk the indoor track) or we will reschedule. Check our story the day of for details!

Sherry won our $1000 holiday giveaway prize, $500 of which was dedicated to a charity of her choice. Sherry decided to continue with the spirit of the Manual Medicine Christmas Food and Toy Drive and donated to the Dunnville Salvation Army 🙌

Every year we are excited for Manual Medicine Dunnville’s food drive they run from three weeks in December. Today they surprised us with 431 pounds, donated by their wonderful staff and friends for our food bank. Thank you so much for your support!!

It’s time for our annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive at Manual Medicine! If you’d like to contribute, we’d be grateful to receive non-perishable donations from anyone in the community—patients, neighbours, friends, and family! Together we can make a real difference for local families in need this holiday season 🎄

Some items needed for donation include any non-perishable food items 🥫(canned goods, pastas, cereals, snacks, dry baking mixes, etc.), hygiene products 🧼(toothpaste, deodorant, pads/tampons, soap, etc.), and any unwrapped children’s toys 🧸
