We had fun this week in our Growing Together groups making a variety of scones - plain, raisin and cheese. They all turned out so well and this was a new recipe for the moms who all said they will make them again at home for their families.

This is a beautiful day where we have the privilege of supporting single moms, widows, single senior ladies and grandmas raising grandkids in our community. This spring Mom Care will be held at the Wainfleet Be In Christ Church, 53007 Perry Road, Wainfleet. MomCare will be held on Saturday May 2 from 10-2.⁠

Today we give thanks to Jesus for His sacrifice on the cross. Because of Him, we are able to live with hope of eternity. Because of Him, our sins are washed away. And because of Him, grace can have the final say in each of our stories. It is a good Friday, indeed. 💙✨

✨Meet Val, a Client Support Worker and Growing Together Co-Leader at our Caledonia location. Val is a trained Child & Youth Worker and is currently taking courses in Biblical counselling. She is a great asset to our team, and we are so grateful for her!

💠Val's Role: Val supports clients one-on-one, at Growing Together programming, and in the early stages of parenting, through HPCFC's Beginning Together program for new moms. She is passionate about what she does and has a heart for supporting women and families as they navigate challenges and overcome those challenges with strength and hope.

💠Val's Passion for Pregnancy Centre Work: Val is passionate about what she does. This is evident in her care for clients and her drive to help women see their confidence restored. She is there to support those who are hurting and broken, and she is passionate about uplifting them with truth and words of wisdom.

Today we acknowledge Val's contribution to our team. She truly is a blessing to us. 💙

We have had a busy couple of weeks in our Mom's Growing Together Groups in Dunnville. Thank you to Jane for coming and teaching breadmaking to our moms! Jane bakes bread for our Soup Fest every year. We also made "Mummy's Soup" today, from our special recipe book we created a few years ago, after one of our Soup Fest Events! Delicious bread and soup! !

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate our 20th Annual Spring Banquet last night! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces - 220 of you, including staff, volunteers and board members! Thank you to MP Leslyn Lewis for sharing a powerful message about how we need to value life, reinforcing our front-line home mission. MPP Bobbi Ann Brady and Mayor Shelley Ann Bentley each had powerful messages and shared their support for the ministry we are called to, each and every day in Haldimand County and sometimes beyond. We shared some of our clients moving and grateful testimonials together with some updates from HPCFC. The food was delicious, chefs and servers amazing and the music by talented Klayton Vis was very special. Thank you to all our sponsors, donors and supporters who have helped us to raise over $40,000 so far, towards our goal of $50,000. Thank YOU! More photos will follow. TOTAL raised is now $46,640! Thank you!
