We regret to inform you that we must temporarily pause intakes until we can secure additional foster homes.
What does it mean to be a foster-based rescue? It means we do not have a facility to house dogs, and we can only take in as many as we have foster homes available. The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save!
One of the primary reasons people express reluctance to foster is the fear of becoming too attached. While we understand that it can be difficult not to form bonds, it's essential to remember that by fostering, you are directly contributing to the rescue of these animals. You become the reason they experience love, the reason they find a safe space, and the reason they can ultimately be matched with their forever family. Fostering may present challenges, but it is one of the most rewarding experiences. Witnessing a dog feel love for the first time, providing them with their first comfortable bed, creating a safe environment for a mother to care for her puppies, and watching a nervous dog blossom can profoundly touch your heart.
We provide all necessary supplies to our foster homes; all we ask is that you love the dog as if it were your own and assist us in finding their forever families.
