As of March 21, 2022, masks will no longer be required, except for public transit, health care settings, long-term care homes and congregate care settings. CMTO considers all RMT practice settings to be health care settings for the purposes of the masking mandate. RMTs will continue to wear surgical/procedural masks and clients will be expected to wear a mask until further notice.

COVID 19 & Massage Therapy Update

Thank you to all my clients for their patience and support. These have been quite the challenging times! I want to take this opportunity to give an update on what this means for my own Massage Therapy practice.

Our college, the CMTO, is not expecting RMTs to return to practice if they do not feel it is appropriate or safe to do so. The CMTO also encourages limiting the number of in-person visits by prioritizing clients with essential care needs and to ensure that the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks.

There are new online courses I must complete and additional safely measures to be put in place before I can open safely. These include, but are not limited to, the pre-screening of clients before every treatment, increased frequency of handwashing & cleaning practices, increased signage, documentation and record keeping of practices, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks for myself and for yourself.... yes you WILL have to wear a mask!

I will also be working ONLY from my Echo Bay office which is located approximately 16 minutes from city limits.

I will be in contact with each client as I can accept them and go through the screening processes. Please be patient and honest during this time.

Hi clients! Just an update from the CMTO; as of last Wednesday our closures have been extended to May 19th. Hopefully that will be the last extension 🤞 I am currently not booking further appointments just in case I will just have to cancel them all over again. Thank you for your understanding. Once we get the go ahead, I will be replying to texts regarding bookings!

⭐️ ⭐️ I WILL BE STARTING UP SOLELY FROM MY ECHO BAY LOCATION. Until further notice ⭐️ ⭐️ Please keep that in mind! Thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation. This is a difficult time for everyone. Returning to normal will be quite the process.

As of next week (March 23) I will be working ONLY from my Echo Bay location as my office in town has been closed until further notice. I apologize for any inconvenience. Proper screening will still take place for everyone keeping their appointments during this time.

Attention clients! For anyone wanting to book after 3 o’clock, my next available slot is 6 o’clock on August 30. After that I have 30 minutes slots September 24 and 25th and on. Evening appointments are booking up to December. I do have more during the day in August. Message me if you would like to book an advance.
