Happy International Women’s Day!
There’s something to be said about the magnetic energy of driven women. Lindsay and Jillian started Foxglove Wellness because of their mutual passion to be better, work harder and love more. Their goal was to build a business centred around community, inclusion, and love. This tiny team of two snowballed very quickly into a current team of 16 strong bad ass women.
Beyond our immediate team, our walls are adorned with products made exclusively by local female-owned businesses. Our photographer(s), lawyer, accountant, book keeper, and financial advisor are all women. We hire all genders, but find ourselves surrounded almost exclusively by strong women. This isn’t an intentional choice, but we also don’t believe that it’s coincidence; women stick together. Our ethos, community and culture have attracted the strong women who represent us every day. As such, we only create more magnitude and love.
We’re looking forward to another year of growth with the women we choose to have by our sides; with the women who choose us back every single day. Cheers to us!

We have hired another acupuncturist to join our team! Kristin will be joining us at Foxy to cover Olivia’s mat leave! (Photos of her beautiful face soon, for a proper introduction.)
Kristin’s bubbly personality will make you feel right at home the second you meet her!

If you’ve ever had the experience of walking into the foyer at Foxglove, the first thing you might notice is the beautiful windowed apothecary.
In fact, the whole entrance is full of glassed in rooms, giant windows and natural light. It’s our cozy sunlit refuge during these chilly winter days.
If there’s one thing we pride ourselves on, it’s our aesthetic. And there’s one person, in particular, whose mission in life is to keep our glass sparkling; Kimiko.
She’s often found puttering around the front with a spray bottle and microfibre in tow, polishing every inch of the many panes of glass.
She’s so passionate about her glass, we’re going to go ahead and self proclaim that Foxglove has the sparkling-est glass in the city of Edmonton.
Prove us wrong, we dare you. 🫧

Happy Women and Girls in Sports Day - Feb 5th! 🎀💪🏻
Part of who we are as a strong, successful, female owned/operated business is an emphasis on leadership and community.
Playing/participating in sports helps build skills to lead, win with grace, lose with pride, push boundaries, work as a team, build self confidence and so much more for later on in life.
Sport has such a positive impact on over-all wellbeing and personal growth. We believe that girls and women should be included and supported in all levels of sport - for their future success in careers, relationships and beyond.
For us, sport has taught us how to lead, how to compete fairly, how to communicate respectfully, how to ask for help from people who know more, how to support one another, how to build/grow your skill set, and how to cheer for the other team.

Olivia’s time at Foxglove isn’t over, but she’s taking a break to start her family! In case you haven’t noticed her little tummy in tow, we’re expecting our first baby fox at the beginning of March!
Olivia’s schedule is open until the end of February, so book in with her while you can! She’ll be recovering and spending time with her new family member for the spring and some of the summer. Her return date is TBD, but we will update all of you once she is ready to return to her clients!
In the meantime, Lindsay will be extending her schedule to accommodate new clients and Olivia’s clients who need a little love during her time away.

✨ Re-meet Co-Owner Lindsay ✨
When you first walk in the door, you might notice Lindsay in the apothecary with intense RBF. Don’t take it personally; rest assured she is deep in thought deliberating which formula to prescribe. Once you get her one on one in the treatment room, she actually smiles and will chat your ear off while she needles until she walks out of the room to leave you to relax for 20 minutes of uninterrupted acupuncture bliss (and silence).
Her love for her clients is as intense as her RBF. Her superpower is connecting with people in an authentic way, which for her, just means being real, honest and a little bit hilarious.
Lindsay’s forte is explaining the “why” behind your treatment in terms you can understand, so you leave your appointment learning a little bit about Chinese medicine.
Her ongoing goal is for her clients to sit around the dinner table talking about how amazing Chinese medicine is at the end of their day. Our photographer has her working hard on smiling when she concentrates – a goal she can work on for the new year. 🙊

She might sound like a valley girl and dress like she’s going to the beach 365 days a year, but deep down inside she knows what she’s talking about.
Truly, her generous heart, loving touch and infectious laugh keep new friends coming through our doors. Want to book with Jillian? You can’t. Just kidding, hop on her waitlist and pray the stars align. She’s not allowed to retire because we can’t live without her skills as a massage therapist, playlist curator, website designer, organizer of all things, and aficionado of staff room s**t talk.
Getting treated by Jillian is like getting the massage you never knew you needed. You become her family the second her hands touch your skin. Her intense love for her people transcends into all of the work she does.

Olivia’s love of Chinese medicine started as a teenager receiving acupuncture for the first time. She fast tracked to her acupuncture program out of high school, practiced for a couple of years and then decided that she wanted to learn more.
She graduated from her Chinese medicine diploma from Pacific Rim in 2022 where she deep dove into the magic of herbs so she can treat from the inside out. Her extensive knowledge of acupuncture and herbal Chinese medicine shines through each session.
She is stoic in her presence, intense in her studies and soft in her approach.
You might notice Liv sporting a tiny bump, growing our first ever Fox Pup (coming March 2025) - so get in with her before she takes a short break to start her wee family.

✨ Re-Meet Keeley ✨
Keeley is our resident physio- and she runs the physio show solo. 💪🏻
She is vastly knowledgeable having practiced for over 20 years, and is still always looking for the next thing to learn. She is one of the OG’s in pelvic floor physio in Alberta, but is game for any concern that walks through the door.
She has a direct style of treatment stemming from a gentle heart and desire to ensure every client gets the results they are coming in for. She gives realistic treatment plans for rehabilitation that can be achieved easily at home and within the parameters of a busy lifestyle. Watch her eyes sparkle when she talks about the pelvic floor.
At Foxglove, she is voted most collaborative, most photogenic, and most likely to call you out for not doing your exercises ;)

Cyan is the youngest member of the Foxglove team. She started “working” of us at he ripe age of 6; gotta start ‘em young! Her enthusiasm for working at Foxglove is inspired by her older sister, Kaia, who is our youngest actual employee (without breaking labour laws.)
You can often find Cyan after school in the apothecary looking strangely more like her non related “auntie” Lindsay, waiting for mom to finish with clients. Norwegian genes in tow, this kid was built for work. She always wants to help out.
Her favourite job at Foxglove is “model.” Her second favourite job is stamping our logo onto the take away bags. Her third favourite job is asking mom for all of the Foxglove swag, usually given into by Auntie Lindsay.
She’s growing like a week everyday and before we know it she will actually get a seat behind the counter at Foxy. A true Fox is born.

✨ Re-meet Lucia ✨
This girl worked a handful of shifts like 2 years ago but we still love her and consider her part of our team. She was our original interview as clinic coordinator and became fast loved and best friends.
We interviewed her over zoom in our bikinis from the Hotel Arts Pool deck. Not quite ready to make a full time jump into clinic coordinator, she maintains one shift a year to attend our annual holiday party. 364 days a year you can find her running the show, but we plan to steal her from the Daniel Costa empire, full time. Forever.

Re-Meet Laura
Laura is the most recent addition to our team and such an integral piece of our puzzle. We didn’t know she was missing until she showed up.
Laura brings a witchy bad-assery vibe along with a loving, fully authentic, present and intuitive practice. Her flow, her hot stones as fingertips, and her ability to melt each individual with her touch is bar none.
When you walk into her treatment room, you know. She is known at Foxglove for the most elaborate room set up, always burning one of our signature candles for added ambiance and Foxy vibes.
She fit in the second she walked into our lives and we couldn’t be more grateful she is choosing to share her skills at Foxglove.
