130 km in two days. A permanent ileostomy. One inspiring story of courage and hope. Thank you, Alex! 💚

North Vancouver’s Alex MacInnis has done something incredible—he completed the Squamish 50/50, two ultramarathons in two days (130 km total), all while living with a permanent ileostomy.

Through his Ultras for Ostomies campaign, Alex has already raised more than $18,000 for Ostomy Canada, proving that life after surgery has no limits.

Now it’s your turn to Step Up! If you’re planning your own initiative, become an Ostomy Champion and help us raise awareness and support across Canada.
