⬆️ Is this you? Is your skin red, itchy, and inflamed? 🔥
😭 Have you tried “everything” but nothing has given you relief long-term?
💸 Perhaps you’ve spent hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars in the process.
🥺 Do you feel kind of hopeless at this point?
💖 My friend, there IS hope for you. 🥹
🗺️ May I propose to you that you may be looking for answers in the wrong direction? Allow me to help guide you. I’ll try to make it simple.
1️⃣ What you see on the outside cannot be “fixed” from the outside. Topical treatments alone won’t fix the problem.
2️⃣ Skin eruptions are an *external* manifestation of an *internal* problem. This usually involves long-term, body-wide inflammation and/or toxicity within the body.
3️⃣ What we consume, or don’t consume, directly affects how we feel: physically, mentally and emotionally. Yes, this includes the skin.
4️⃣ When the gut is dysbiotic, or out of balance, harmful microbes can outnumber beneficial ones. These microbes release toxins that inflame the gut and, over time, contribute to chronic systemic inflammation.
5️⃣ More toxins - from what we inhale, ingest or apply to the skin, means more work for the liver, our primary detox organ.
6️⃣ When the liver is overburdened by this toxic load, the body pushes toxins out through the skin (the skin is a “minor” detox organ), resulting in conditions like acne, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, etc.
7️⃣ Going back to inflammation…. Inflammation is an immune response, meant for short-term response. Long-term (chronic) inflammation overburdens the immune system, leaving it with less capacity to respond elsewhere. For many people, this shows up as frequent infections or catching every cold and flu going around. 🤧
8️⃣ Beneficial gut microbes make up 70-80% of immune function, so when their numbers are reduced through poor diet, antibiotics, or medication overuse, the immune system is weakened.
🔗 To link this all together: when the gut, liver and immune system are overwhelmed by inflammatory byproducts and toxins, the skin can reflect this stress through flare-ups that manifest as redness, heat, itching, pain or swelling. 😩
⁉️ So what’s the answer to the problem? In simplest terms:
✅ Reduce stressors and improve stress management habits. Stress is a major trigger for skin flare ups!
✅ Remove inflammatory foods and increase beneficial foods.
✅ Support healthy, gentle detoxification.
✅ Rebalance and repair the gut.
✨ This is exactly what we do inside my 1:1 program. No more chasing symptoms, no more guessing, no more DIYing. Support and guidance are the key to your success! We identify and address stress, gut health, gentle detox support, and the specific foods that are best for your body.
