🌗 Exhale 2 Equinox: A Journey of Release 🌓
Step into a sanctuary of healing and renewal
September 21st from 3-5p.m.

This unique event class is dedicated to the art of letting go. Inviting you to release energetic weight or physical stagnation that you may be holding before the cooler and slower seasons are upon us.

The experience begins with a grounding yoga practice led by Ronna, whose guidance will connect you to your breath and body, cultivating present moment awareness and openness. From this space, transition into a deeply intentional space held by Kate, weaving together conscious connected breathwork and Holy Fire Reiki. This powerful blend will help you anchor into the now, release old patterns, and recalibrate your energy to align with your highest heart.

Allow yourself to be supported in community as you discover new depths of release, clarity, and self-compassion.

Please bring: yoga mat (sone in studio mats and props available), journal for reflection prompts (if desired), comfortable clothing, an open heart and mind.

Métis Medicine

When I reflect on all of the things I have been blessed enough to learn about my Métis culture and Chipewyan/Dene bloodline it is truly no wonder that yoga found me.

It was not always the case that my family or myself had access to who we are, but my spirit body called me to remember. Leading me to embodiment practices that honour the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual beings that we are, to the medicines of plants and food, to philosophies that respect and promote living a connected life… There are some things that can never be taken away from you.

With gratitude and loving kindness I honour my ancestors who quite literally rebelled for a better way. Maarsî, thank you.

Today, we remember and honour the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people across Canada.

The red dress serves as a powerful symbol of their absence and the ongoing support to stop violence against Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people.

The 2019 National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls released a report with 231 calls to action, urging comprehensive reforms to address this crisis and promote healing and reconciliation.

Please get familiar with the 231 Calls to Justice from the 2019 MMIW national inquiry report and hold the government accountable to implementation.

Be an Ally. Speak up in situations that demonstrate sexism, gender based violence and misogyny.

Be an Advocate for safe spaces, health services, and affordable living for Indigenous women, girls, single mothers, seniors, two-spirit and Indigiqueer people.

With over 100hrs of Rocket Yoga training, Blaze is an experienced guide ready to share what she has learnt with others and have fun doing it! ☺️

🕉️ Rocket 1 - Saturday, Oct 05, 1:30-3pm
This sequence will be a first exploration of the Rocket Yoga sequence. Learn the core standing sequence, strengthen and lengthen the legs and hips, and prepare for some arm balances and inversions.

🕉️ Rocket 2 Saturday, Oct 12, 1:30-3pm
Continuing with the core standing sequence, this class will offer new options and variations. Along with strengthening the arms, shoulders, and the back to begin opening up for backbends.
