Full-Time Staff Pharmacist in Edmonton – Join a Supportive, Community Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:
-Accurately dispense all prescriptions, including verifying and checking prescriptions
-Perform patient-focused clinical services as eligible and appropriate for patients, and document accordingly
-Provide professional advice and dialogue on prescription and OTC products
-Counsel patients on new and additional medications, including side effects and interactions
-Administer injections and immunizations
-Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
-Deliver pharmaceutical care to a diverse range of patients, including pediatrics and acute care
-Supervise and direct pharmacy assistants and support staff
-Manage medication therapies and ensure proper inventory, labeling, and storage
-Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety standards
-Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and contribute to a team-oriented work environment

Candidate Requirements:
-Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
-Minimum 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in Alberta preferred
-Proficiency with Kroll software
-Authorization to administer injections and valid CPR certification
-Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) is an asset
-Experience or comfort working with vulnerable populations
