Healing isn’t a straight line from point A to point B.

Some days you’ll feel like you’ve made real progress, and some days you’ll feel like you’re back where you started. That’s normal. That’s human.

Give yourself permission to move at your own pace. 🤎

ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 Starting February 16, we’re going virtual! 🤎

This is a temporary transition while we prepare our new Cy Becker clinic opening June 2026. In the meantime, we’re expanding access to care across Alberta with secure virtual sessions.

We know not everyone has a private space at home, and that’s okay. Whether you’re in your car, a library study room, outdoors, or at home, our practitioners are here to support you with therapy that works for you.

Gentle reminder: you don’t need permission to put yourself first, you need practice 🤎

This holiday season, invite yourself to set boundaries when needed, take a quick time-out from your plans to reset, and reflect on what you truly need to practice self care going in 2026 (and beyond).

Prioritizing yourself isn’t an act of selfishness. When done effectively, it can be the most radical act of self love that also helps communicate your boundaries to those around you.

We know that it can be difficult to make space for yourself. That’s why our therapy team is here to support you in this journey. We offer free virtual consultations and no waitlist, with evening and weekend availability. Book an appointment in our bio 🤎

The holidays can bring connection, but they can also bring up old patterns, tension, and a lot of feelings. If family time feels stressful or overwhelming, you’re not alone. 🤎

Our clinician Charlie Emerick, RSW () shares practical ways to navigate conflict with more clarity, boundaries, and self-compassion.

To explore all 7 strategies in more depth, visit our website to read her full blog post.

There’s a difference between fixing your emotions and feeling them.

One tries to make the discomfort go away as quickly as possible. The other creates space to understand what the discomfort is trying to tell you.

It’s not about choosing one forever; sometimes we need solutions, and sometimes we just need to be seen in our struggle. The key is knowing which moment calls for which approach.

Healing happens when we stop treating our feelings like problems to solve and start seeing them as information worth listening to. 🤎
