Kids appetites vary and some days they just aren't going to eat as much, and that's okay. Some days you will notice they have a hollow leg and can't seem to eat enough! Both completely normal and signs of your child listening to their body instead of outside pressures. This is instinctive and we don't want to ruin it.

When we put pressure to 'just take one bite' or '3 bites before you leave the table' we are saying, don't trust your body, we won't listen anyways.

There are things you can put in place to help with picky eating, make sure they are getting the nutrients to grow and thrive and not have to have mealtime battles, power struggles and the constant worry of 'did they eat enough'.

SLP's and OT's trained in feeding can help make mealtimes less stressful knowing you are laying the foundation of positive food experiences so your child has the opportunity to learn to love food again!

We love hearing how much our clients connect with our therapy assistants! The connections built in their sessions are truly transformational!

This was a little 6 year old that mastered his speech sounds and is so ready for grade 1! Watching videos from a year ago showed how amazing his progress has been!
