This is such an amazing organization! The donations of switch activated toys they make to public services is amazing! This can be truly life changing for kids who can't reach out and make a toy move themselves to actually be able to make something else move that is accessible to them!

Help make play accessible this holiday season! Donate to our campaign to give the gift of play to kids with disabilities across Canada. Even just $5 can provide the parts for a toy hack, while $60 can give us everything included to provide an adapted toy to a child.

Just a happy day of connecting our hemispheres and waking up our brains before we dive into reading!

We don't just look at speech sounds here, we want to make sure all the hard work we put into the speech practice is actually absorbed into our clients brains!
We like to think of ourselves as brain architects! We dive deeper and make sure our clients are in an optimal state of learning at the beginning of our sessions! This is one way we do that!

Behaviour gets a bad rap...

Also, trying to fix behaviour with only corrective strategies is sure to only get short term success.. eventually those token and reward charts stop working..

We don't need external motivation to exist positively in our environment. We need to feel good, feel in control of something, feel connected, have trust. When we have unmet needs, behaviours happen. It's our job to figure out what those needs are.

Researchers at the University of Alberta are offering free mini language assessments for children aged 5–7 who experience language delays or are on the autism spectrum. These fun, play-based sessions include a free report for families with helpful strategies and insights.
