What would our health and social systems look like if every provider saw family caregivers as essential partners, not “extras”?

Family caregivers deliver up to 90 % of community‑based care, yet too often their expertise is overlooked. When we partner with them—listening first, collaborating always—outcomes improve for everyone: the person receiving care, the caregiver, and the care team.

That’s why 1,507 learners have already completed our Advanced Caregiver‑Centered Care Education — Partnering Module.

They leave with practical tools to:

🗝️ Identify and engage the right caregiver early.

🗝️ Share decision‑making and care planning responsibilities.

🗝️ Respond constructively when caregivers are assertive—“get curious, not furious,” as geriatric psychiatrist Dr. Elisabeth Drance reminds us in the video below.

When we meet caregivers upstream with respect and curiosity, we build trust, reduce conflict, and unlock better care.

Ready to strengthen your practice?
