Hard launch y’all…have made some chaaaaaanges!! We have transitioned from the Edmonton Midwifery Cooperative to our new practice group, Edmonton Community Midwives ✨✨
Edmonton Community Midwives is headed by our amazing leader, colleague, and friend Sarah Rodger. So in the words of Sarah herself, “At Edmonton Community Midwives, community is our focus. We have the same philosophies, some of the original midwives, and some great new friends. This new group will continue to serve our community in the same way, continue to focus on providing excellent, evidence based midwifery care, while meeting the needs of our clients and our midwives in Edmonton, Alberta”.

New Drop-In Clinic Dates for August ✨✨✨
ALL are welcome at our FREE drop-in community clinic days. Come see our midwives at your own convenience for that missed prenatal appointment, baby weigh in, breastfeeding support, lab work collection, or Pap smear! We also offer STI and pregnancy testing.
Non-clients are welcome. Located at the Edmonton Midwifery Cooperative Clinic Friday, August 9, 23 & 30 from 10-3.

Welcome, welcome lovely April babes 🐣🐣
April was quite the whirlwind of births! If you check out some of those dates, you will see how our little nuggets like to share birthdays with their friends. It made for some busy days, but we are (mostly) caught up on sleep over here! ❤️
This month, we had the opportunity to witness so much strength and love from our amazing families as they welcomed their little ones earthside 💪 🌍
One of these special little guys even belongs to an EMC midwife!! Congratulations Heather on your beautiful small human xx

Still deciding where you would like to birth?! Then save the date y’all! We are so excited to be hosting our next ‘Choice of Birth Setting’ Info Night 🏡 🏥 🌊
Our event will be hosted in person on Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 pm at our EMC clinic. This event will be open to midwifery clients, partners, and community members interested in educating themselves regarding choice of birth setting.
Your EMC midwives will be discussing topics such as: safety of out of hospital birth, pain management options and coping in various birthing settings, and when birth setting plans change. We will also be providing demonstrations of our out of hospital equipment set up!! 🩺
We are SO grateful to be featuring personal experiences shared by our wonderful clients who have birthed in a multitude of settings ✨✨✨
Light snacks and refreshments to be provided ☕️🍪 We hope to see you there!!
