"After a year of being passed through the public medical system, we finally found Dr. Jesse Slade Shantz. My son is a high level basketball player and needed a complete ACL reconstruction and Meniscus reconstruction that no other surgeon felt comfortable to do. From the first contact via virtual meeting, I knew we were in good hands. The surgical coordinator Bryanne walked us through every step, making sure we felt comfortable with the procedure, and all of the aftercare. We made the trip to Edmonton less than a month later and arrived at the surgical center where we were greeted by the most amazing team and were given the step by step on how the procedure goes as well as all of the aftercare. There isn’t one thing not fully explained.

I arrived as a very nervous mom with a 15 year old being put under anesthesia for the first time. The team there made me feel comfortable and cared for. I could feel the confidence from the team, anesthesiologist and Dr. Jesse, and I knew we were exactly where we needed to be. The surgery went perfectly, and the aftercare team of nurses were so caring and amazing. I can’t say enough about them.
