Health Trends - 2023
While most Canadians still say they would prefer to initially reach a doctor in person, the pandemic saw virtual appointments increasing. A recent poll by the CMA shows 47 % of Canadians had an online appointment last year as compared to 4% pre-pandemic. As we go forward, it is expected that younger, healthier people will choose to go the virtual route, while those who are older and more at risk will likely choose in person visits.
