💚 Have you ever noticed how differently we show up in love?
Some of us lean in, some pull away, and some feel caught between both. These patterns are often rooted in our earliest bonds — and they can shape how safe, connected, or anxious we feel in adult relationships.

The important thing to remember: 🪷 attachment styles are not fixed. With self-awareness and healing experiences, we can shift toward healthier patterns of connection.

✨ Reflecting on your own style can help you:

Understand your needs more clearly

Communicate them with compassion

Build relationships that feel safer and more secure

💬 What about you — have you noticed your attachment style evolve over time?

When intimacy feels complicated, many of us wonder, “What’s wrong with me?” The truth is, the roots often run deeper. 🌱

Generational trauma can live quietly in families, shaping how we talk about desire, show vulnerability, or connect with our bodies. But noticing these patterns is already a step toward healing.

Every time we choose compassion over shame, or openness over silence, we create a new possibility — not just for ourselves, but for the ones who come after us. 💛

Back-to-school season is here and while routines are shifting, schedules are filling, and responsibilities are piling up, your relationship doesn’t have to take a back seat. 💛

We all spent years in school learning math formulas, grammar rules, and science experiments… but no one ever handed us a textbook on how to navigate intimacy 💭❤️

How do you communicate when you feel hurt? 💔

How do you repair after a fight? 🔄

How do you keep connection and desire alive as the years go by?

These questions often don’t have simple answers—and yet they shape some of the most important parts of our lives.

Our latest blog, The School of Intimacy: What We Weren’t Taught About Relationships, explores the missing “curriculum” we all needed: emotional literacy, conflict resolution, attachment, and the science of building lasting connection.

Instead of believing love should “just come naturally,” we can recognize intimacy as a skill that can be learned, practiced, and strengthened over time.

The good news? It’s never too late to enroll in the School of Intimacy. Every conversation, every small repair, and every intentional moment of care is part of the lesson plan 💚✨

📖 Head to our website to read the full post and reflect on one question: What relationship lesson do you wish you had learned earlier? 🤔

Looking for simple ways to strengthen your bond and feel closer to the people (and pets!) you love? 💞 It all comes down to oxytocin — often called the love hormone — which helps us feel connected, safe, and cared for.

Here are some everyday ways to give your oxytocin levels a boost:

🐶 Spend time with pets – Playing, cuddling, or even going for a walk with your furry friend can instantly lift your mood.

🤝 Physical touch – Hugs, hand-holding, or even a gentle squeeze on the shoulder can build safety and closeness.

💌 Acts of kindness – Doing something thoughtful for someone else not only brightens their day but also releases oxytocin for you too.

👀 Eye contact – Maintaining soft, genuine eye contact signals trust and strengthens connection.

🗣️ Deep conversations – Going beyond surface-level chatter helps you feel truly seen and understood.

These small yet powerful practices can help you nurture intimacy, reduce stress, and strengthen your relationships — with partners, friends, family, and even yourself.

Sometimes the simplest gestures are the ones that matter most. 🌿

What’s your favourite way to feel connected?

Not all desire looks the same and that’s not only normal, it’s expected. 💭✨

In her groundbreaking book Come As You Are, Emily Nagoski breaks down the different ways we experience s*xual desire: spontaneous, responsive, and contextual. 💡💕

Spontaneous desire is what many of us grew up thinking desire “should” look like. Popping up out of nowhere like a spark that suddenly lights the fire. 🔥

But for many (especially those socialized as women), desire doesn’t work that way. That’s where responsive desire comes in, it doesn’t lead the way, it follows. Desire shows up after closeness, touch, or arousal begins. 💆🏽‍♀️💫

And then there's contextual desire. Desire that shows up only when the conditions are right: emotional safety, stress levels, relationship quality, body image, and so much more. 🧠💗🌿

None of these are better or worse. They’re just different, and knowing which one resonates with you can be a total game changer. It can help you understand yourself more deeply, have more compassion for your partner, and take some of the pressure off what s*x is “supposed” to look like. 🤝🏾💬

If you’ve ever thought, “Why don’t I want s*x the way I used to?” or “Why do I only feel turned on after we start?”you’re not broken. You’re human. 🙌🏾💓

Understanding your desire style is one of the most empowering steps you can take in your s*xual wellness journey. 🌸🛤️

🌱 “The struggle of codependency isn’t rooted in the longing to be helpful, it’s in the ways we approach being helpful. When we attempt to rescue or fix others' problems, we are doing them a disservice by not allowing them to figure it out on their own. We are essentially telling them with our actions that we don’t believe they are capable, even if they are.” 💬

This quote from our latest blog, Untangling Codependency, is a gentle reminder that helping doesn’t always mean fixing. 🤝 Sometimes, the most supportive thing we can do is step back and trust that others can handle their own journey. 🌿

Codependency can look like care, love, or loyalty on the surface—but underneath, it’s often about control, fear, or avoidance. In relationships, this can lead to burnout, resentment, or disconnection. 😞💔

Healing from codependency means untangling our need to be needed and learning how to support others without sacrificing ourselves. That means creating space for others to grow, stumble, and succeed on their own terms. ✨🧠
