Have you purchased your ticket to the 10th Anniversary Gala yet?
If not, here is your reason why.
Jaxon received his heart transplant as a baby, and for years, he has enjoyed a wonderful quality of life. However, a transplant is not a cure; it is a lifelong journey.
After nearly eight years of pristine heart caths, we received devastating news this fall that Jaxon has developed Coronary Allograft Vasculopathy (CAV). This is a transplant-specific complication that currently has no cure.
Thanks to groundbreaking research and the brilliant doctors at the Stollery, we have hope. Studies funded through Big Gifts for Little Lives directly impact care for children like Jaxon. Funding research helps find ways to make transplanted hearts last as long as possible. This research gives us every reason to believe Jaxon can overcome this new challenge.
This is why supporting Big Gifts matters so deeply. Your donations and support give kids like Jaxon a fighting chance at a long, healthy future.
