Virtual Heart Connection The purpose of this physician-led group is to connect children and their familes with CHD via virtual & inperson events

- This group is organized by the Pediatric Cardiology Department at the Stollery Children's Hospital in association with the WCCHN to connect children with a Fontan circulation, and sponsored by the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation
- With the cancellation of organized heart camps due to the pandemic, we have held successful annual virtual Fontan day camps which occur in November
- We hold annual CHD family picnics in Edmonton during the Summer
- Our first Fontan Family camp occurred in August 2023 sponsored by the WCCHN BoostUp competition and will become an annual event, stay tuned for more details

When the weather outside is frightful in Canada, what else is there to do but join virtual heart camp for games, cookies, painting, adult testimonies and more. This marks our 5th Virtual heart camp brought to you in collaboration with Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance (CCHA) sponsored by the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation .
