DIAPHRAGM BREATHING is a complete game changer. Most people do not breathe properly (instead do shallow chest breathing which tightens up shoulders and neck).
It not only helps biomechanically, but also improves your nervous system function. The vagus nerve is a part of the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest), which is where we want to be most of the time. Chronic stress leaves us in fight or flight which can predispose you to injuries, affect sleep, wreak havoc with digestion, etc.
