There's a lot going on in your day, it's okay that things get thrown in the back seat - it happens to us all. We're here to remind you (and ourselves) which ones to bring back up front so you can continue being awesome. Water's one of them.

Most people aim to get 8 glasses of water each day. Pregnant people should aim a bit higher at 10 glasses a day and breastfeeding parents should try to get to 12 glasses each day; you're hydrating for two now and you're doing great.

Take a break, go grab a glass and remind yourself that you are smart, kind, and beautiful.

It’s true; parenting isn’t always giggles and snuggles, but there are lots of them and they fill life with such special joy. When struggles come up they often change day-to-day and exists for everyone, including you Dad.

We see your sore spots, the days you’re tired, and recognize that your heart has heavy times too. We see your efforts, the love you give, and the strength you have to adapt, grow, show up, soften, heal, support, and have fun, with your family.

You are a valued and important person in your family. Your love makes such a difference in turning struggles into successes that shape your little saplings. As parent partners to you it brings such happiness to watch you with kiddos 💚

Today and everyday, know that you are amazing, and that wish you a Happy Father’s Day 🌲

Chiropractic care is like a backstage pass to a happier, healthier you! By focusing on the relationship between your spine and nervous system, it recognizes how spinal imbalances can throw off your flow and aims to get everything back in sync.

Chiropractor's treatments tune up your musculoskeletal and central nervous systems. They help you stand taller, move smoother with a wider range of motion, and even feel more flexible. Whether you’re preparing for parenthood, in the middle of it, or recovering afterward, chiropractic care has your back (literally!). It even helps along your feeding journey, making sure you and your little one are in harmony.

Imagine your chiropractor as your body's stress-busting, pain-relieving assistant. They’re here to help your body do repetitive movements, ease pain and stiffness, and de-stress. They treat nerve pain, joint pain, plantar fasciitis, TMJ dysfunction, and headaches. It's also a great way to tackle symptoms from osteoarthritis, sciatica, injuries, surgeries, and accidents, ensuring you stay on track through all of life’s changes, ages, and stages; ready to rock each day in the best way.

When we're physically not feeling well other areas of life are more likely to have challenges too. By getting the body out of pain or a tense state the ripple effect of less pain and tension in other categories is promoted.

Physiotherapist help beyond the classic injury or surgery rehabilitation into areas like injury and surgery prevention, coordination, cardiovascular functioning, and through each stage of pregnancy including pregnancy preparation, during each term, birth preparation and throughout initial and extended postpartum stages. Physiotherapy isn't just for adults either. Kiddos and seniors benefit in multiple, unique ways as well.

The resources in each clinic's shop shelves are there to support, empower, and inform our clients. They can often aid in continuing or even amplifying the work clients are doing with their practitioners.

In the book "Come As You Are" Dr. Nagoski demystifies the idea of the brain's "pleasure center", explaining its role in governing emotional and physiological responses - both positive and negative - that can affect our intimate "accelerators" and "brakes". She further explains that physical responses don't always align with arousal and desire, especially in women, where such alignment occurs about 10% of the time. Desire for women is more typically reactive, sparked by engaging her "accelerators" and disengaging her "brakes".

For both sexes, the path to intimacy is a delicate balance between "accelerators" and "brakes" - unique elements that drive or hinder desire. Recognizing your partner's unique balance can lead to a more fulfilling intimate life. The key lies in understanding that women tend to have more sensitive "brakes", while men have more sensitive "accelerators". Dr. Nagoski suggests that for women, removing potential "brakes" can be an "accelerator". A clean house or dimmed lights might just do the trick if those are areas that put the "breaks" on for your female partner. By understanding each other's intimate triggers you can support healthy connection, deepen your bond, and improve desirable intimacy which can have positive rippling effects into other areas of life.

Did you know massage is for more than relaxation?

While decreasing stress, pain, and tension are positive benefits that can have impact in multiple areas of life, it is not where the benefits end.

There are less thought of areas to be improved through massage such as digestion, pregnancy, mood + energy, and surgical + scar tissue recovery.

What areas of your life have been positively impacted by massage?

Happy Mother's Day to each and everyone of you representing motherhood in its many stages and styles.

Taking saplings from seed to tree is a consistent and often hard work that takes patience and does not need to be perfect in order to be healthy. The symbolism of tree rings reminds us of this in a beautiful way.

Light colored rings show growth in the Spring and early Summer while dark rings show growth in the later Summer and Fall. Wide rings show growth during a time of abundant nourishment, while thin rings represent growth during dryer seasons. A beautiful reminder from Mother nature that even with their differences there is still growth. Scars in the tree rings tell us of hardships for the tree whether from external factors like fires, or internal factors like infections. The most precious trees are that which tell a story of their life and are better when they're varied and unique. Just as you are beautiful in all your seasons and stages; scars and all.

Today can be a challenge for many of us where there is hope and focus on the future as well as a hurt and grief for loss. Maybe it's loss of our seedlings and saplings, loss of our own mothers, or loss of a sense of self that can come when taking on a new role like mother. Today does not have to be about either or but rather both and. When we allow ourselves to feel our feelings wholly we not only heal ourselves but we lead by example for others to live in multiple truths with authenticity in a balanced way. If you're hurting today know that your seen and supported.

From a group of perfectly imperfect women to you all we hope you have a joy filled day remembering that you and your journey are beautifully designed just as you are; yesterday, today, and tomorrow too🌲

When we're in stride with our life, living in joy, experiencing peace, feeling good & positive, everything around us aligns with those. It is not easy to do that though. Any given day there is a load on you to have this one beautiful life be all it can be; we are right there with you in that effort.

is a great chance to check in and rearrange things if your mental health and wellbeing ended up on the back burner. It might even be in fire, and that's okay too! We love helping people put out those fires and become present in the prioritization of having a robust and beautiful mental state. We know as a practitioner team we're better together and we're happy to get to be a part of your life team.

While mental health is a 52 week focus for many of us, clients and practitioners alike, this is a great week to check in on how those intentional activities are going for you. Most of us know what we "should" be doing, but life understandably gets busy & hectic at times which causes a slip up from self care.

Taking the time to reconnect with or revive mental health activities in your life is important.

Share with the community which actives do you do for your mental health below!

Celebrating in our own Piney way >>>
By launching the long awaited "May the Forest be with you" t-shirts for both our little and big Pine kiddos🌲

In nature each tree matters and adds independent value to the forest as a whole. A forest couldn't exist without all of its individual trees. Much like our community couldn't exist without each client and practitioner. You all build a unique and special part of our culture and collective which is why we refer to it as our Pine Forest.

We love getting to be with each of you on your health journeys, and we enjoy having every one of you be a with us in our days. It's what makes them!

We've had a ton of fun creating this punny shirt for you all and we hope you have just as much fun wearing them.

Email [email protected] ASAP to place your pre- orders!

Happy Business-aversary to our fearless forest leaders! 5 years ago Jill and Mallory began the Pine Integrated Health Centre. Through growing their families, opening the Sherwood Park clinic, navigating unexpected global events and much, much more behind the scenes they have grown a place of hope, healing, and holistic health.

Thank you Jill and Mallory for all you have done and continue to do; for giving a happy home to so many practitioners, and for being a safe, positive place for thousands of clients. By turning your dream into a reality you've helped so many others achieve their goals as well. You are change makers! We're all excited to see where this forest grows.

Every single Pine member has immense gratitude and appreciation for you and your families! 🌲💚🌲

While our group chat has been sending you all loads of gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you, we wanted to send a huge public thank you for the roles you play, the energy and joy you give, the ways you step up intuitively, and how you keep the clinics running smoothly. We truly wouldn't be able to help as many people as we do, in the way that we do if it weren't for you. You are integral, valued, and seen not just today on but everyday.

Navigating Fertility Challenges in the LGBTQ2S+ Community 🌈

The path to parenthood is unique for every person and for the LGBTQ2S+ community that journey can involve unique fertility complexities.

From navigating reproductive technologies to overcoming social and financial barriers, walking through the process of choosing a donor or surrogate to advocating for equal access and respect within the healthcare system, their journey can be filled with hurdles. Together we can create and celebrate each hope giving milestone and honor the specific struggles they face in creating and growing their family. We honor and support the resilience it takes for anyone, including the LGBTQ2S+ community to become parents with abundant empathy, joy, and love.

To honor National Infertility Awareness Week we're highlighting individuals of our Pine Health forest that work together to help those impacted by full or partial infertility. We support those who are directly experiencing hurdles with fertility and those who are standing beside someone who is struggling with it.
Whether you're looking to overcome infertility or accept it we are here for you. You are not alone 🌲

Featured today are acupuncturists and psychologists specifically educated and prepared for (in)fertility work. Call into either the Edmonton or Sherwood Park clinics to book a time with a fertility member of our team.
