Hi everyone!
Let me introduce myself, to those that don't know me. My name is Bryanne Royer, I'm a newly started massage therapist who graduated from MacEwan University
I get asked often, what made you want to become an RMT?
To be honest it wasn't my first choice. After high school, I first went into secondary education with a major in science and a minor in math and I completed 2.5 years. Then took a semester off. Growing up we always been active with dance and sports. Had a couple of injuries that led me to get chiropractic adjustments, some physiotherapy, and eventually my first massage. All this started my curiosity in the human body After taking a semester off I knew I didn't want to start a completely new 4-year program. Much thought and research went into what I should do next. then found and applied to the massage therapy program. I loved learning about human anatomy and being able to use my hands.
What I enjoy about being an RMT?
I’ve always wanted to do something that helps people. Being able to take someone’s pain/discomfort away is very rewarding. Every patient is different which brings a new challenge that I enjoy.
What do I offer?
Relaxation, Therapeutic treatments with different types of techniques: Swedish, PNF, myofascial work, hydrotherapy, trigger point work, and recently cupping.
Where do I work?
