Normally we would be closed for National Truth and Reconciliation Day but our Indigenous consultant, Monique, has us open early today to host Edmonton Global for one of her educational experiences. She has another event this afternoon at BEC and will open the teepee tomorrow night for anyone who would like to join her for storytelling with bannock and tea.

🍂 Honouring the Season of Change 🍂

As we move into the fall season, my heart is full of many feelings—remembering the happiness of summer days and the gentle sadness of knowing they have come to an end. Fall always brings reflection, prayers, and memories of my grandparents, my uncles and aunties, and all my relations who guided and taught me with love and wisdom.

This time of year also calls us to hold space for all Residential School Survivors and their families, to remember their strength and to walk together in healing and hope. As we approach National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, we honour the truths of the past while carrying forward the teachings of love, respect, and resilience.

I invite you to join me in community and connection for a family-friendly gathering where we can share, drum, and support one another on this journey of remembrance and healing.

Thank You for a Beautiful New Moon Gathering

My heart is full 💛 Thank you to everyone who came out to the tipi to share in our New Moon event, to drum, and to sit together in community. Your presence, open hearts, and beautiful energy made this evening so special.

There is such power in gathering under the night sky, setting intentions, and creating rhythm together. 🌙🪘 Each beat of the drum carries our prayers and dreams into the new season, reminding us that we are all connected.

I am so grateful for this circle and the love we share. Until we meet again, may your intentions grow strong and your spirit stay grounded. 🌾✨

Bring your moose gunz 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 + I wjll have a few Orange TShirts from kids to adult. All funds go to a hide camp I’ll be hosting for Residential School Survivors and Kin this October 2025.
