We have been experimenting with 3D printed cosmetic covers, scanning the client’s sound side to ensure symmetry, and then using a lightweight TPU filament to print for the prosthetic side. This particular individual is an above knee amputee, so we had the added challenge of creating an articulating knee area. Once completed, the patient also opted for a stocking to cover the whole thing, making for a pretty awesome looking leg!
