March was another fun and busy month. Musical jam brought out new instruments to play. St. Patrick's day brought out our crazy hair and we tried to create traps to catch those tricky leprechauns. Butterfly Wings and wishes paid us a visit bringing a variety of critters such as a tortoise, gecko, hissing cockroaches and more.

February was a short but busy month. We talked about kindness and friendship leading up to Valentine's day. Many activities were about working together with another classmate to create something together.
We had the opportunity to visit Petland where we met many animals and learned how to be kind and take care of them.
For cooking day we created friendship bites and apple muffins. Both turned out yummy!

2025 has started off strong. Beach day, musical jam and sledding day are a few of thr highlights so far. Beach day brought the coldest weather but we enjoyed a picnic style snack along with a sweet popsicle treat. We have been lucky to have a fairly mild January and enjoyed plenty of outdoor play, whether it is playing on the plowed up snow hills, enjoying park time or having a ball sledding down the big hill!!

A little bit of year in review. We enjoyed a theatre production in December from Kompany Theatre. In December we had the opportunity to host our Christmas concert in the "big" school gym for an evening of family fun. Children did wonderful being on a big stage in front of 200 people!
In November we had a visit from Octo the Owl who lives on a sanctuary. Also in November we discussed the 5 senses. These special ears reminded us that listening is one of the 5 senses. They were a hit with the children and some even wanted to bring them home to share with siblings!

The gingerbread man visited in our final weeks of school before the break. He had our shoes, left us stories and treats.

Thank you to all of our families for the kind words, pictures, gifts, and support so far in our year. Wishing each of our families a restful and joyous start yo 2025. We look forward to starting our learning adventures again January 6. Happy New Yeat!

With the arrival of snow we took the opportunity to build, play, and try some sledding!
