Does someone you know need to see a family doctor but cannot find one or is their doctor temporarily away for various reasons? Please consider booking with Dr. Henry Chen! Dr. Chen will be joining us on a part time basis with publicly available bookings for anyone who needs to see a family physician. Dr. Chen has 40 years of medical experience and is semi-retired but is willing to contribute to the community given the current lack of access to family physicians. Dr. Chen speaks English only so patients who do not speak English will need to bring a translator. He is not accepting regular patients as he will retire in the coming years. Booking with Dr. Chen will be a reliable and convenient way to come see an experienced family physician without the hassle of waiting at a walk-in clinic. Dr. Chen is able to see for all medical concerns and general physical exams. Given the current shortage of doctors, seeing Dr. Chen will be a great way to meet one's medical needs until they are able to find a permanent family doctor.

A rapid strep test or a throat culture test should always be performed before treating your sore throat with antibiotics. Our pharmacists can perform the rapid strep test and prescribe antibiotics if needed. No appointment necessary.
