This is a post from a hospital group in Colorado called UC Health I found on LinkedIn.
"Across Colorado, more than 75% of adults are now vaccinated against COVID-19. Inside our hospitals, we’re seeing that the 25% of Coloradans who are unvaccinated are making up the vast majority of our patients with COVID-19. As the charts below show, nearly 86% of our hospitalized patients are unvaccinated, and nearly 91% of our ventilated patients in ICUs are unvaccinated. Of our hospitalized patients who were vaccinated at the time of admission, many are immunocompromised."

Every RRT should know about this unit. I still believe it is one of the more important ventilation devices we can use. Fantastic for chest consolidation, secretion clearance, lung recruitment and of course even just plain old ventilation from the smallest neonate to the most obese patient. Saw this post on a friend's page and I had to share it. I have long believed that stem cells have the potential to help cure many ills. Sadly more research is needed as there are some scary quacks out there using stem cells, still I think they have massive potential.

I was asked what Rivanna (a new company I work for) was today. Rivanna is another company that seems nice and I like them but what they have, now that is amazing.
