Today, we say our final goodbye to Tatay Remy a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished friend to many.

His kindness touched everyone he met and his laughter filled the hearts with warmth. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, humility, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Tatay Remy. To Kuya Dell Villafuerte Faurillo and family, thank you for trusting Yakap Alberta Foundation and Benjie Lindo Live! May God continue to bless us all! 🙏🙏🙏

A mother, is always a Mother:
No matter how many times her feelings get hurt, she never stops caring for her children, and never stops praying for the best of them.

Isa na naman po nating kababayan, si Ate Amelia, ang natulungan ng Yakap Alberta Foundation at Benjie Lindo Live upang makauwi sa Pilipinas matapos ang isang malungkot na karanasan dito sa Canada.

Taos-puso rin po kaming nagpapasalamat sa Philippine Consulate General in Calgary, lalo na po kina Consul General Emma Sarne, Vice Consul Vida Versoza, at Sir Douvey, para sa kanilang tulong at mabilis na aksyon upang mabigyan ng Travel Document si Ate Amelia. 🙏🙏🙏

Yakap Alberta Foundation Pays Tribute at Edmonton Candlelight Vigil for Victims of the Lapu Lapu Festival Tragedy, Vancouver.

In solemn remembrance, the Yakap Alberta Foundation joined the community at the candlelight vigil held in Edmonton to honor the lives lost and those affected by the tragic incident at the Lapu Lapu Festival.

With heavy hearts, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the victims. We stand in solidarity with the Filipino-Canadian community as we grieve together and seek healing in the face of this heartbreaking loss.

As a foundation rooted in compassion and unity, Yakap Alberta reaffirms its commitment to supporting those in need—especially in times of sorrow.

Let us continue to lift each other up, hold space for one another, and never forget the lives that were taken too soon.

Luksang Bayan Edmonton: Filipino communities and organizers of Edmonton are hosting a Candlelight Vigil for the victims of the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival Tragedy in Vancouver. We call upon our community to come together and support each other during this period of collective grief. This is part of the Luksang Bayan vigil happening in various cities in Canada at the same time, across time zones.

Please join us at Edmonton City Hall at 5PM. Assembly is at 4:30 PM.

We encourage attendees to wear black, bring flowers, battery operated/electricelectric candles, and offer prayers for the victims, their families, and all affected by this tragedy.

Our heart goes out to our kababayan affected by this devastating day.
