Hey y'all! We're coming back this year to continue our infographic series. 👟

We're starting out with some quick information on a cool down routine that you can start using:

Cool-down routines are important to allow your body to recover. A proper cool-down routine is important in reducing muscle soreness, preventing injuries, and easing your body back to a resting state. Here are some things that you can integrate into your own cool-down routine.

Light walk (5-10 minutes): Gradually lower your heart rate with an easy walk to finish off your run

Stretch your muscles: Focus on static stretches for your calves, quads, hamstrings, and hip flexors. Hold each stretch for 20 - 30 seconds to improve flexibility and release tension. 🦵

Deep Breathing: Finish with deep, controlled breaths to calm your mind and relax your body. Inhale through your nose, exhale slowly through your mouth. 🌬️

Hydrate and Refuel: After cooling down, drink water or an electrolyte drink and grab a post-run snack to replenish your energy. 💧🍎

This routine will help your muscles recover faster, reduce stiffness, and prepare you for your next run. Keep those legs fresh and strong! 💪

Stay tuned for future running info!

3) Increased Energy: Say goodbye to that sluggish feeling! Regular physical activity helps increase your overall energy levels, making it easier to tackle each day with enthusiasm.

4Better Sleep: Struggling with winter insomnia? Exercise can help regulate your sleep patterns, ensuring you wake up refreshed and ready to take on the world!
