The Recreation Therapy Team at Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre has had a wonderful time celebrating the Christmas season with festive music, celebrations, and themed activities — including gingerbread house decorating, school visits, and handing out Christmas cards from local schools. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make the season so joyful. We’re grateful for the laughter, teamwork, and holiday spirit we share with our residents and colleagues. Wishing you all peace, joy, and warmth this holiday season! 🎅🎁

🎄✨ Gingerbread House Decorating ✨🎄

Last week, residents and staff came together to decorate gingerbread houses, which are now proudly on display for everyone to enjoy! 🏠🍬

This activity was especially nostalgic for many residents. It sparked joyful memories of childhood Christmas traditions and times spent baking with their children and grandchildren. As the houses were decorated, residents shared stories of holiday baking, family gatherings, and cherished holiday traditions, filling the spaces with laughter and connection.

✨ Christmas has arrived at Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre! ✨

The halls are glowing with holiday cheer this week as each household has been beautifully transformed for the season. From sparkling Christmas trees to tinsel-lined hallways and ornaments dancing from the ceiling, the entire building feels like a Christmas wonderland. 🎄❄️

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible recreation team and the residents who joined in the decorating fun. Your creativity and festive spirit have filled our home with warmth, joy, and a whole lot of Christmas magic. ❤️

Here’s to a season of togetherness, comfort, and celebration at Allen Gray!

✨ December is here, and so is the holiday cheer at Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre! ✨

This month is filled with festive spirit, joyful gatherings, and special moments as we celebrate the season together. We have a wonderful lineup of activities planned — including three choir performances throughout the month, a visit from A Blair Mcpherson School, and our Resident Christmas Party on December 18th! 🎄🎶

Join us for a memorable evening at The Gray House Guild's Gala Night Event on November 2, 2024, at 5:30 PM, hosted at the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre. For just $55 per person, enjoy a delightful dinner buffet and an evening filled with exciting entertainment, including a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and a chance to win a 50-inch TV.

Tickets are sold at the Main Reception area of the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre located at 5005 28 Avenue Edmonton,AB with a purchase deadline of October 25.

This special fundraising event is dedicated to supporting the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre,a non-profit organization, with all proceeds going towards All proceeds from the evening will go towards enhancing care, services, and equipment for the residents of Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre. We can't wait to share this night of fun and compassion with you!
