It's Cervical Health Awareness Month!

Did you know cervical cancer can be prevented? 75% of cervical cancers can now be prevented through regular screening (smear tests). Almost all cervical cancer can be treated successfully when diagnosed early, with a cure rate of 80%-90% for stage 1 cancer.

Let’s raise awareness about cervical cancer and the importance of early detection. 💜

THANK YOU, Sandra Schmirler Foundation, for funding a brand-new Electrocardiograph (ECG) for our hospital! 💜

Until now, our hospital didn’t have its own ECG, meaning staff had to borrow one from other departments. Now, with this dedicated equipment on-site, women in Edmonton and beyond will receive faster, more accurate cardiac care when it matters most.
