Why hello, everyone! 👋 We’ve had SO many new followers lately (thank you! 🥰), so I thought I’d kick off our first post of 2026 with a new intro post.

WHO ARE WE? Dr. William Chin is a dentist, dad, and total movie buff. Amanda manages our clinic operations and loves all things food, community, and arts. Together we’re a dynamic duo — husband and wife, parents, business owners, and community supporters. We opened our new ✨dental practice, Norwood Dental Centre - Inglewood in September 2025. Our original location Norwood Dental Centre - Alberta Avenue has been open since 2018.

WHAT DO WE DO? We offer a full range of general dentistry 🦷 services. Our goal is to do dentistry, differently. No white coats, no judgement, and no pressure. We believe a dental practice can be a place of laughter, kindness, and community. And we believe in caring for people, not just teeth! 🙌 We frequently sponsor community events and offer fun giveaways to support local! 🎁

This wonderful little shop is my “go to” for greeting cards, gifts, and books.📚 During the teacher strike this year, some wonderful activity books from this shop *saved my butt* in keeping our 6-year-old engaged beyond a television screen. 😅 The Prints and Paper greeting card selection is cheeky, inclusive 🌈, and often features local 🍁 makers. And they have delightful mugs! Notebooks! Stationary! So much more!

We love Bodega because the food and service is ALWAYS delightful — whether we’re talking a cozy meal with our kids or a night out with friends. ❤️ With construction around their store, we imagine it could’ve been tricky year for them, so we’d love to see Edmonton come together to show this awesome local gem 💎 some love.

Our favourite Bodega menu items are easily the bacon-wrapped dates and seared scallops, though you truly can’t go wrong with of their Portuguese and Spanish cuisine. 😋

Our wonderful local MLA Sarah Hoffman and her constituency manager Tonya stopped by our office! 🙌 We had fun touring them around our beautiful new practice and talking teeth. 🦷

The meeting got us thinking about community and giving back. Public service isn’t easy — and is often especially tricky for women in politics. We are grateful for leaders like Sarah who continue to step up and support their neighbours. ❤️

Outside of the clinic, I also serve as board chair for Community Options - A Society for Children and Families, which runs the amazing Edmonton NW Daycare located in Inglewood! ❤️ Love our local charities and non-profits in Edmonton!
