🌷 Happy Mother’s Day 🌷

Today we lift up and honour the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and all the women who love, guide, and care for our families and communities.

They are the heartbeat of our homes and the keepers of our teachings. Through their love and strength, we learn who we are, our language, our stories, our traditions, and the meaning of Wahkohtowin: that we are all connected.

Our mothers carry so much with grace and courage. They nurture our spirits, protect our hearts, and remind us to walk in kindness, love, and respect. Their wisdom lives on in every generation.

Today, we celebrate the sacred role of mothers and thank them for the countless ways they continue to heal, inspire, and uplift us every day.

Sending love to all mothers here with us, those who are remembered, and those who care for others as their own.

Today, we wear red in love and remembrance.

We think of the women, girls, and Two-Spirit people who should still be here. Whose laughter, presence, and spirit are deeply missed. We hold their families close, especially those who continue to carry both love and loss every single day.

Red Dress Day is a time for our communities to come together in a shared moment of reflection. We honour the lives behind the names, the stories that live on, and the connections that can never be taken away.

We stand with our community in this space of remembering. Our women, girls, and Two-Spirit relatives are cherished. They are daughters, mothers, aunties, friends, and knowledge keepers. They are part of who we are, always.

Today, we wear red for them.
We say their names.
We move forward with them in our hearts.

Never forgotten. Forever carried.

We’re excited to announce the relaunch of our evening men’s group with a new name and renewed intention.

Starting tomorrow May 5th (5pm-7pm) and continuing bi-weekly. Heart Spirit Healing and Wellness welcomes you to the Men’s Cave, a dedicated space for men to come together, connect, and support one another on their healing journeys.

This is a safe, supportive environment where you can speak openly, be heard without judgment, and show up exactly as you are. Together, we focus on building genuine connections, strengthening emotional resilience, and creating a true sense of belonging.

Whether you’re returning or joining for the first time, you are welcome here.
