Side of Kale fried with olive oil & garlic, salt.

Vegetarian spring rolls stuffed with sprouts, shredded cabbage , shivered carrots salted deep fried ( Rice paper)

Baked Cauliflour
Dipped in eggwash, flour, bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, paprika and salt.
Baked for 35 minutes @350 degrees on parchment paper turning halfway in the oven.

This plate counts as
2 vegetables and 2 starch on program

Butternut Squash Soup
1 pkg frozen cubed butternut
1 onion diced
2 potatoes peeled & diced
750 ml water
1/4 cup oil

In a pot fry onion til transparent
Add potatoes fry half way
Add butternut squash
Add water
Salt & black pepper to taste
Cover and simmer until potatoes are fully cooked.
Once cooked blend it into a puree
2 cups = 1 veg, 1 Starch, 1 fat.
Enjoy
1 slice bread= 1 Starch

Yes you can eat pizza on our program.
It's about moderation not deprivation!
Recipe
2.5 cups flour
Approx 1 cup water
1 tsp yeast.
Knead well leave 1.5 hrs to rise.
Knead again and roll out on a gtrased pan

I make my tomatoes sauce home made and place on the dough
Add onion, spinach, mozzarella cheese, parmesian cheese. ( or whatever toppings you desire) if you add any type of meat add 1/2 protein to the count.
Bake 35 minutes @350
4x4 inch slice = 1 starch, 1/2 Protein.

Baked Salmon & shrimp with a lemon sauce.
Oil 4 tbsp, flour 1/4 cup, 1/2 C lemon juice, 1/4 C melted butter, combine all make a batter add a bit of water if necessary and pour on top and bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes.
5oz Salmon = 1 Protein
4 oz of Shrimp = 1 Protein.

Dinner ideas: Basa with baked potato and Brussels sprouts. Begin by thawing and washing the Basa, then squeeze out excess water and pat dry with paper towels. Beat three eggs and marinate the Basa in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, prepare two bowls: one with parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs, and the other with flour. Coat the Basa with the flour mixture, followed by the breadcrumb and parmesan cheese mixture. Place the coated Basa in a baking dish with oil, cover with foil, and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. A five-ounce serving constitutes one protein portion. Enjoy!
