🤯 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY 🤯

This patient presented to us in April of this year with lower back, hip, and ankle pain with hopes of competing in an international dance competition next year.

All symptoms have been a major factor since 2023 after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

After examination and x-ray analysis we could clearly see the regions of her spine involved. Adjustments were made in a cautious, systematic manner to fit her needs.

Fast forward to August, we are currently treating this patient once every two to three weeks, seeing a substantial change in her posture, and well on our way to lasting functional changes.

Super proud of her! 😊

🍎 WELLNESS WEDNESDAY! 🍏

Turning off screen time before bed is important for sleep because of how light and stimulation affect your brain and body. Here’s why:

1. Blue light disrupts melatonin:
Phones, tablets, and TVs give off blue light, which signals your brain to stay awake. This suppresses melatonin, the hormone that helps you fall asleep. Less melatonin = harder time falling and staying asleep.

2. Keeps your brain “on”:
Scrolling, gaming, or watching shows is stimulating. Your brain stays alert and active when it should be winding down, making it harder to transition into restful sleep.

3. Delays your natural sleep cycle:
Late-night screen use can push back your circadian rhythm (your body’s natural sleep-wake clock). This can lead to later bedtimes and groggier mornings.

4. Reduces sleep quality:
Even if you fall asleep, screen use before bed can make your sleep lighter and less restorative, leaving you feeling less rested.

5. Stress and overstimulation:
Social media, emails, or intense shows can trigger stress or overthinking at night, which makes it harder to relax.

⭐ A good rule of thumb: Power down screens at least 1-2 hours before bed and replace them with calming activities like reading a book, gentle stretching, journaling, or listening to relaxing music.

🤯 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY 🤯

This patient presented to us in January of this year with upper to mid back, neck, shoulder, elbow and wrist issues, AND a scoliosis in his lower back.

The patient underwent an examination and was then sent for x-rays. Our analysis revealed significant twisting in the neck and lower back, responsible for his postural issues and discomfort.

Fast forward to August, we are currently treating this patient once per month, and he has made some serious improvement! Little to no discomfort in his body and his posture looks great.

Very impressive!!! 😊

🍎 WELLNESS WEDNESDAY! 🍏

McDonald’s might be tasty and convenient, but it’s not the best choice for an after-school snack - especially for kids who need steady energy, focus, and nutrition after a long school day. Here are a few reasons why:

1. High in unhealthy fats and sodium
Most menu items are fried or heavily processed, which can leave kids feeling sluggish rather than energized. Too much salt and fat also aren’t great for heart health over time.

2. Low in lasting energy
The refined carbs in buns, fries, and nuggets can spike blood sugar quickly, leading to a crash soon after. That means kids may feel tired or cranky instead of recharged for homework or activities.

3. Minimal nutritional value
Fast food is generally low in vitamins, minerals, and fiber—nutrients that kids need for growth, focus, and overall health.

4. Encourages unhealthy habits
Making fast food a go-to snack can set the tone for craving greasy, processed foods instead of fruits, veggies, or wholesome snacks.

5. Portion sizes are misleading
Even "snack-sized" options are often calorie-dense, making it easy to overeat without feeling full in a healthy way.

👇 A better after-school snack is something with protein + fiber + healthy carbs
- Apple slices with nut butter
- Veggie sticks (carrots, cucumbers, peppers) with hummus
- Greek yogurt with berries and a drizzle of honey
- Cheese cubes with whole-grain crackers
- Rice cake topped with banana slices

These snacks take seconds to make AND easier than idling in a McDonalds drive-thru, giving your kids steady energy to keep them satisfied until dinner

⭐TESTIMONIAL TUESDAY! ⭐

“I have been seeing Dr. Langley for almost a year now and I can’t express enough how the quality of my life has changed. I have chronic back issues from an accident when I was a teenager coupled with a solid fear of Chiropractors and manual adjustments. I’d tried chiropractic treatment several times before and always left in extreme pain with no benefits. Dr. Langley was amazing about talking me through every adjustment he did and using tools to pinpoint areas on my back until I had enough mobility that manual adjustments became possible for me. I have seen change in every aspect of my life from being able to get out of bed in the morning to walking my dogs. I can’t thank Dr. Langley enough for his patience and care with me. His amazing staff is an added bonus, they always put a smile on my face.”

🤯 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY 🤯

This patient presented to us in May of this year with mid back and neck pain. She had never seen a chiropractor before!

The patient underwent an examination and was then sent for x-rays. Our analysis revealed significant twisting in the neck, leading to forward head posture, rounding her upper to mid back.

Fast forward to August, conservatively spacing treatments out, and she has made some serious improvement! Hardly notices any symptoms, upper back is beginning to flatten out, and forward head posture has reduced.

Pretty amazing if you ask us! 😊

🍎 WELLNESS WEDNESDAY! 🍏

When kids jump into sports, their bodies go through a lot of changes—new movements, longer practices, and the occasional bump or fall. Seeing a chiropractor can help keep them safe, strong, and ready to play their best.

⚾ Keeps growing bodies balanced – Kids are still developing, and chiropractic care helps make sure their spines and joints stay in alignment so they can move with ease.

🥎 Helps prevent injuries – Small imbalances can lead to sprains, strains, or aches. A quick check-up can help catch these before they turn into bigger problems.

🏀 Boost performance – When their bodies are moving freely, kids can run, jump, and react better on the field or court.

⚽ Support quicker recovery – Sports come with falls and rough landings. Chiropractic care helps kids bounce back faster so they don’t miss out.

🏈 Build healthy habits early – Learning about posture, body mechanics, and self-care at a young age sets kids up for long-term health—both on and off the field.

🤯 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY 🤯

This patient presented to us in May of this year with weakness in the right knee, pain in his left ankle, aching hips, and aching in his neck.

The patient underwent an examination and was then sent for x-rays. Our analysis revealed twisting in his neck, responsible for the achy feeling, and twisting in his lower back vertebrae, leading to increased pressure on his right knee, hips, and left ankle.

Fast forward to July, he is pain free, playing multiple pickleball games, and golfing 3-4 times per week! Not only that, his forward head posture is practically non-existent.

We are beyond impressed! 😊
