Dr. Teresa Zhang obtained her M.D. in 1984 from Yan'an University in China, practicing as a pediatrician before moving to Sweden in 1997 for her Ph.D. in medical science at Lund University.
Afterwards, she moved to Canada to continue her research at the University of Alberta and refresh her expertise in TCM at Reeves College, obtaining a Diploma in Acupuncture. She practiced acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine at several clinics, ultimately settling at Millwoods Acupuncture center where she now leads the passionate team of this clinic.
Teresa enjoys the longevity and naturalness of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has taken a number of courses in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine taught by world-class instructors from around the world to deliver the best and most comprehensive care possible.
