Our team at Corinne Eckert Child & Adolescent Psychology would like to send a huge thank you to skilled EFT and EFFT therapist, and my friend Shenny Karmali! Our team was lucky enough to have Shenny come to our clinic recently and provide us with a fantastic training session in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy.

We are so happy to have this modality to complement our work with children and families, helping us really meet them where they are at, and supporting them to move forward in an atmosphere of compassion and safety. And we feel so lucky to have the opportunity to learn from such a passionate, skilled, and caring person such as Shenny! 💕 Can’t wait for part 2!

LIMITED SPOTS! Start the school year strong—give your child/teen the tools to thrive. Our Training in Core Social Skills: 2025–2026 School Year Group Program builds confidence and social skills, and helps kids connect with others all year long.

Our School Year Group Program is designed to support children aged 7-15. This program focuses on developing social understanding and awareness, strong social skills, and confidence in social interaction while providing coached practice opportunities with a group of peers of a similar age. This in-depth program offers comprehensive psychological support for each child, combined with a parent coaching component and optional teacher support.

How to Get Started: We conduct a telephone intake interview with parents and review any pertinent documents such as psychological/cognitive assessments. Our psychologists will help determine if the program is a good fit for your child and provide personalized treatment recommendations that best meet your child’s needs. These psychological services may be reimbursed by health insurance or sponsored by government programs such as FSCD (Family Services for Children with Disabilities), Supports for Permanency, and Children's Services.

Registration is open for our Training in Core Social Skills School Year Group Program! 🍂 This well-known program helps children and teens (ages 7–15) build confidence and develop essential social skills for real-world success, and spots are filling up fast!

With three progressive levels from September through June, participants learn how to read nonverbal cues, communicate more effectively, manage emotions, and build positive peer relationships. And we teach parents and teachers how to coach and support this growth too.
