We did it we have been open for one month now. I want to thank everyone who came in to support us and our local vendors.

We want to address theft though.  When you steal from a small business, you are taking money out of the pocket of the people who run it and taking away items that people work so hard on. We are not a corporate owned store. We are a small family. We were very disappointed to learn just how much was stolen in our first month. We do have cameras and they have footage on them that is stored. We will be going over the footage and finding out who did this and the proper authorities will be involved. If you took anything from our store, please bring it back in good condition and no questions will be asked.

Our Story

Hello, my name is Ashley and I am a crafter! My inspiration for starting this shop was my first daughter. When she was born there wasn’t a whole lot around us for headbands and toddler clips. I decided to make a few and ended up making too many. It was then that a friend suggested I try selling them at a local farmers market, where I remained selling for six years every summer. When my daughter was still a baby I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease, Fibromyalgia and depression from chronic pain. When she was two we welcomed our second daughter into the world. Soon after that we were in a horrible motor vehicle accident, everyone was fine but me. My entire right side was damaged from being hit by a truck. After two years of Physio therapy and a year of doing it myself, I have a whole new normal, I’m still in severe pain. Chronic pain tries to rule my life but I try not to let it. After the accident I wanted to give something to the universe so we decided to foster a 15 year old who still lives with us today and is the newest member of the Little Boutique team. She is in charge of shipping as of October 2019. Crafting soothes my soul. I can’t just sit still or else my mind focuses on the pain I am in. By crafting at night my mind doesn’t wander and I can enjoy watching TV, having good conversations with my hubby and just feel like I am contributing to our family.
