Generally, if the varicose veins are asymptomatic, it's reasonable to postpone treatment and manage them with compression socks or stockings until family planning is complete. However, if the varicose veins become symptomatic during this time, treatment of a vein segment may be reasonable to consider, depending on the location and severity. Ideally, when planning to have children, a medical evaluation is recommended to determine the best course of action.
