20 years ago, my mom did something incredibly brave — after a 40-year nursing career, she retired and decided to open a business with her son. Together, we built Lamont Vision Centre from the ground up, not knowing exactly what was ahead, but trusting in each other every step of the way.

This place has become more than just a clinic — it’s a part of the community, a second home, and a symbol of what can happen when courage, love, and family come together.

Mom, I’ll never forget the leap of faith you took. Thank you for believing in me, for inspiring me, and for making this journey so meaningful.

Here’s to 20 years of helping people see better — and to the incredible woman who helped make it all possible
