Stay safe and keep our community virus-free! Take care everyone 💚🙏

Restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars that are relaunching for table service should maintain proper guidelines to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission among guests and workers.

Guidelines include:
☑️ Operating at no more than 50 per cent seating capacity. Outdoor patio seating areas must also be at 50% capacity or less.
☑️ Arrange tables and chairs so there is a 2-metre distance between each dining party.
☑️ Removing table condiments and other frequently touched items
☑️Control access to the dining area by asking guests to wait to be seated, or ask guests to wait outside until their table is ready.
☑️ Thoroughly clean and disinfect each table. Reusable menus or digital ordering devices and paper menus must be discarded.
☑️ Guests and workers should practice proper hand hygiene.

Remember to renew by tomorrow if your driver’s licence, identification card, and vehicle registration expiry date falls March 17 through May 14.

Driver’s licences and identification cards will expire on your birthday. Check your card to confirm the date.

Vehicle registrations expire on an assigned month based on surname or company name. Albertans whose surname or company begins with B (not Be), D, G or Y are scheduled to renew by May 15.

Albertans with a surname or company name beginning in C (not Cl) or N are also schedule to renew by the end of the month.

To help reduce in-person visits and support Albertans isolating or practising physical distancing, some registry agents are temporarily offering select motor vehicle services by secure email, phone, or fax. New driver’s licence or identification card applications and renewals requiring an updated photo must be processed in person.

Albertans are encouraged to contact their local registry agent to ensure it is open and confirm whether they provide the needed service remotely.

Some municipal and private campgrounds may reopen in time for the May long weekend. Anyone planning a camping trip should:
- Check for fire bans at https://www.albertaparks.ca/albertaparksca/advisories-public-safety/fire-bans-restrictions/
- Practice physical distancing with other campsites.
- Wash their hands as frequently as possible.
- Avoid sharing drinks, food or utensils with other campers.

Non-essential travel is still not recommended so we encourage Albertans to stay close to home as much as possible.

We are working hard to make provincial campsites available as soon as possible. Alberta Parks’ online campground reservation system will open on May 14 for bookings at select campgrounds starting June 1. Watch for more information.

Anahata Wellness Studio supports

We, Albertans, have been developing a community built in compassion and kindness. Helping one another is a huge part of who we are.

We support .

----------
As posted from Alberta Health Services page:

"The recently launched campaign has seen 24 health foundations come together from across the province to show appreciation for healthcare professionals and support staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With Health Philanthropy Month kicking off today, we wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks to our foundation and auxiliary partners, and to all Albertans who have participated in this campaign to date.

Thank you for creating and placing hearts in the windows of your homes, and sharing messages of support online. These kind gestures are so meaningful to our healthcare teams during this challenging time.
