Most manufacturers have a notice on the label in regards to this issue!!

We have received recent reports about sheets combusting when used in holistic health practices, specifically those that use massage oils or essential oils. We are sharing this information with members who may not be aware of this risk.

If you use sheets in your practice and also use massage oils or essential oils, sheets can absorb the oils and pose a fire risk when exposed to heat in a dryer or during storage.

It is important to launder your linens as soon as possible to remove the oil and practice safe drying and storage to avoid combustion.
