A Balanced Approach Yoga Training Programs

A Balanced Approach Yoga Training Programs A Balanced Approach Yoga Trainings by Allison Ulan started in 2003. I appreciated what my teachers in India and around the world taught me.

A Balanced Approach Yoga Training programs blend the techniques of mindfulness based practices, physiology, neuroscience and Yoga to train yoga teachers who embody knowledge, compassion and are responsive to diverse classroom populations. The programs are designed to bring together the techniques of physiotherapy, neuroscience, mindfulness based practices and yoga to train yoga teachers who embody

sound knowledge, grounded compassion and the skills to effectively support and motivate diverse class populations. Yet, I lacked the knowledge to respond to diverse needs and concerns in my classes. Because of my curious nature, over twenty five years I studied with various teachers and methods of Yoga, Vipassana meditation, Ayurveda, physiotherapy and Pilates to round out my skill set. I developed to be a teacher who can address physical concerns as much as awareness matters with my students. I created this training program to offer to aspiring yoga teachers the program I wish I had been offered. This program is about understanding being a human from several complimentary therapies - Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, physiology, somatic movement therapy and neuroscience. This page will keep you informed on what trainings are currently happening and what ones are coming up. Plus, I will post articles, illustrations, inspirational quotes, stories and interviews to augment what you already receive in my classes. If you have any questions or interest in a training, please contact me through my website allisonulan.com. Be Well and Be Metta,
Allison Ulan

How Allison and her Balanced Approach started.

A Balanced Approach Yoga Trainings by Allison Ulan started in 2003. The programs are designed to bring together the techniques of physiotherapy, kineisiology and yoga to train yoga teachers who can have confidence in their abilities, embody sound knowledge and will have the skills to implement effective methods for diverse class populations. I appreciated what my teachers in India and around the world gave and taught me. Yet, I lacked the knowledge to respond to diverse needs and concerns in my classes. Because I am a curious person, for twenty five years, I studied with various teachers and methods of yoga, Vipassana meditation, Ayurveda, physiotherapy and Pilates to round out my learning. I developed to be a teacher who can address physical concerns as much as awareness matters with my students. I have created programs that teach participants how to be yoga teachers of integrity through sound scientifically proven methods. In the last three years, the findings of neurology are being integrated into these programs. This page will keep you informed on what trainings are happenings and are coming up in the future. Plus, I will post articles, illustrations, stories and interviews to augment what you already experience in my classes in Montreal and around the world. If you have any questions or are interest in my trainings, please contact me at allisonulan@gmail.com. Be Well and Be Mindful, Allison Ulan
