Who I am...
I have been a Registered Acupuncturist with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA) since 2014, but, I have been exposed to Eastern medicine since I was a young girl with my first lesson in Gua sha. Throughout my childhood my parents instilled in me the importance of health and well-being. And naturally, I was always drawn to health and medicine; studying health sciences in college and university.
In 2013, I graduated from Reeves College with a Diploma in Acupuncture and went straight into a clinical internship with a college professor. During the course of my education I was fortunate to have gained experience in the fields of audiology, diet and health management, family medicine, otolaryngology and physical therapy. These experiences formed my appreciation for both Western and Eastern medicine. I strongly believe that the integration of both Western and Eastern medicine is essential in disease prevention, healing and health maintenance.
Each of my treatments focuses on providing my patients with a thorough, individualized treatment plan in a variety of conditions. I apply and combine values learned through my numerous years of study in both Western Medical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I strive to empower all my patients to live their best and healthiest lives.
