What is Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy?
- Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment option for musculoskeletal conditions that have failed to respond to conservative treatment.
- For many indications, there are high-quality scientific studies that show good effects.
The principles of this treatment are
- Activating the body's healing mechanisms by providing a localized mechanical stress and increasing blood flow.
- To interfere with the transmission of pain signals.
Shockwave can treat tendinopathy, trigger points, ligament damage, spasticity, and more.
