Today, I have finally found the courage to call up the last set of clients who have bookings this month. It breaks my heart every time, and I have cried over and over again right after I do it.

It is with SAD news that I have decided to end my massage therapy practice due to my osteoarthritis. This time around, definitely, there's no more coming back. 😭

God knows how much I love this work, how much passion I have given into it, how hard I have built my clientele since 2011, and how much I care about my clients. Massage therapy for me is not just by touch and feeling. Part of it is also listening. That's why I have clients who have turned into friends, and I am very grateful for that.

Please allow me to say THANK YOU to all of you, to my family and friends, and to all of my clients for believing, trusting and allowing me to take care of you during the time that I can. You have made my dream come true, and allowed me to be part of your healing journey. I wish for all of you great health, success and happiness!

Just a quick note: I am trying to find RMTs to hire or to rent my space (part-time or full-time takeover of lease). Please, if you know anyone interested, contact me directly. I have turned what used to be an industrial/rugged space into a cozy and relaxing therapy clinic.

Your massage shouldn't cause you pain! Pain does not equal healing.

If your muscles are clenched, your massage therapist can't get to the root of the issue. It can actually cause more harm than good if you are fighting the treatment due to discomfort. Communicate with your practitioner if something hurts.

There are different types of massage and one is not better over another. Find the practice that works for you and ask your practitioner to adjust their pressure according to your likes and needs. 💛

Remember to let go and relax during your treatment! 💚 When we have a lot on our minds, sometimes it can take a minute to decompress and clear your mind. Take a deep breath and remember that you deserve this time for yourself!

P.S. In many holistic health treatments, you're in a position to rest and digest, and a gurgling stomach simply confirms that you are truly relaxed. A noisy stomach is a normal bodily function and is nothing to be embarrassed about!
